Projection Mapping
Malaga, Spain

Large-scale projection mapping for Málaga Cathedral, transforming the facade into a festive immersive experience.

Overview

Large-scale Christmas projection mapping created for Málaga Cathedral, transforming the facade into an immersive visual experience during the festive season.

Developed in close collaboration with the client, the project reinterprets the cathedral’s architecture through light and motion, enhancing its structure without overpowering its historic identity. Each sequence was designed to follow the geometry of the building, revealing depth, detail and rhythm across the facade.

The result is a public installation that creates a dialogue between heritage and contemporary audiovisual art, inviting audiences to experience the cathedral in a new and engaging way.

Visual Content Development

The visual content was developed using a combination of 2D and 3D workflows, allowing precise alignment with the architectural features of the cathedral.
